There are a ton of wonderful training programs that educate up and coming death doulas. You’ll have to do a little research to find which one(s) are the best fit for you, personally.

The main “hub” that has a great gathering of information is:

• National End of Life Doula Alliance - The National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) is an alliance of determined, talented, like-minded expert practitioners, trainers, and natural death care pioneers who hold the public interest as our highest priority. ​We are an inclusive and transparent network of doulas with diverse backgrounds, philosophies, and skill levels, and we come together to share our wisdom with each other and the individuals, families, communities, and caregivers we serve. 

**IMPORTANT** The best step you can take toward becoming an EOLD is to become a hospice volunteer. This will help you get a feel for this work, support your community, and gain important bedside experience.
