How it works:

  • begins with a free 30 min in-person or virtual meeting

  • in-person visits, between 1 to 3 hrs per visit

  • zoom check ins, 1hr (optional)

  • flexibility to change the frequency of visits as needs change

  • 9am - 5pm text, email, and phone access

  • on-call services during vigil period

What it consists of:

Doula services are uniquely tailored to each individual. Some examples of services include:

  • Emotional Support: Offering compassionate presence, active listening, and emotional reassurance to both the dying person and their loved ones.

  • Logistical Assistance: Helping with practical tasks such as coordinating care, organizing important documents, and finding resources.

  • Caregiver Support: Helping caregivers, family members, and friends through navigating this difficult time. Assistance with communication and discussions, self care, and consistent emotional support.

  • Education and Resources: Providing information about the dying process, what to expect, and available resources to help families make informed decisions.

  • Legacy Projects: Assisting in recording memories, creating life reviews, and helping the dying person leave a meaningful legacy for their loved ones.

Cost*:

  • in person, $75/hr*

  • on zoom, $55/hr*

Outside of a 45 minute radius from Newtown, Bucks County is subject to a small travel fee.
